Shed Seven are a British alternative rock band formed in York in 1990 and recognised as part of the 1990s Britpop movement. Known for their energetic guitar-driven sound and anthemic vocals, they gained popularity with hit singles such as Going for Gold, Getting Better, and Chasing Rainbows. Their successful albums include Change Giver and A Maximum High. Despite splitting in 2003, the band reunited in 2007 and continued releasing new music. Their 2024 album A Matter of Time topped the UK Albums Chart, followed by Liquid Gold, an orchestral reworking of their classic songs, which also reached number one. Celebrating over 30 years in music, they are set to headline major UK shows in York and Delamere, alongside special guests including The Ks, Reverend and the Makers, and The Lathums.
